Marta Kulikowska, Master of Science in Animal Science, Equine Physical therapist, Founder of Equi-Physic- Equine Bodywork and Movement Therapy, lecturer at the Warsaw College of Veterinary Rehabilitation. Masters research project on fascia in horses Published in the Journal of Anatomy 2019. Member af the Animal Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Research Group at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.

12:30-14:00 Lecture: Neuroanatomy. Structure of the equine nervous system, basic information about the equine brain, cranial and peripheral nerves.
What is meant by the term 'Functional Neurology'? Not to be confused with clinical neurology.

14:15-15:00 Excercise including discussion of the most common neurological dysfunctions.

16:00-17:00 Lecture: Neurological examination of the horse for physiotherapy purposes. parameters we pay attention to during the clinical examination of a neurological patient.
17:30-19:30 Practical classes with horses.
9:00-11:00 Lecture: Elements of clinical neurology, relevant for physiotherapist, massage workers. Neurological clinical signs and neuroanatomic localisation of the cause. Logical reasoning of the clinical problem.
11:00-13:00 The nervous system and the facial system,- what do they have in common? Relation of these two systems in the context of the tensegrity model, postural body awareness, disturbances in the integrity of these two systems and possible biomehanical consequences in horses.
13:00-14:00 Lunch
14:00-16:00 Practical classes with horses. Palpation diagnosis of neurofascial and neuromuscular dysfunctions within the musculoskeletal system. Reference to the topographic anatomy of the nervous system, palpation assessment of muscle tone.
16:00-17:00 Tools and Modalities used in neurohabilitation. Manual techniques and exercises in the field of functional neurology. Demonstration.
9:00-10:00 Practical classes with horses. Methods used in neurohabilitation. Demonstration and practicing yourself.
10:00-11:00 Neurological casestudy.
